After years without a campus-wide competition, Anna Elementary Schools proudly brought back the Spelling Bee tradition. Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade were given the opportunity to participate, beginning with grade-level bees that showcased their hard work, determination, and spelling skills. From these initial rounds, the top 10 students in each grade advanced to the campus-level competitions.

Coyote Confections celebrated its one thousandth loaf at Anna High School with confetti, music, and student made confetti sourdough. Led by teacher Karen Grace, the program continues to build skills and community in Anna ISD.

Anna ISD received a meaningful gift this week thanks to the generosity of the Living for Zachary Foundation, which donated 10 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to support the safety of students, staff, and the entire Coyote community.

Walmart and Zipline launched their first high school drone delivery right here in Anna, and our students got to witness innovation in action.

Anna ISD elementary campuses proudly honored the brave men and women who have served our country with heartfelt Veterans Day programs. Students shared songs, poems, parades, and special presentations to show their gratitude and respect for our nation’s heroes.

The Anna Education Foundation (AEF) has awarded $75,000 in Grants for Great Ideas to support innovative classroom projects across Anna ISD. This year, AEF received more than 100 applications and selected 38 outstanding proposals that will directly impact student learning.
